I didn't start out wanting to be a consultant. I just really liked fixing things.

Most of my career I worked inside organizations: colleges, municipalities, oil sands operations, an Indigenous contracting company in Fort McKay. I'd come in, figure out how things were actually running (usually very different from what anyone thought), and help people get to a better place. Not just the software. The people.

The hardest part was never the system. It was getting someone who'd been doing timesheets in Excel since 2009 to actually trust something new. That's the part most consultants skip. I never wanted to skip it.

I started Rayeform Strategy because I kept seeing the same thing: good businesses, good people, and tools that just didn't match how the work actually got done. A lot of companies buy software and it never really gets used. Others outgrow their spreadsheets and don't know where to go next. That's where I come in.

I'll look at what's not working and tell you what I actually think. No pitch, no pressure.
